A 43-year-old man has denied a total of nine sex offences at a hearing in Derry Crown Court.
The man, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is charged with four counts of indecent assault on a child and five charges of sexual assault.
The offences allegedly occurred between April 1, 2008 and August 30, 2009 against two girls.
One of the girls was aged between 13 and 15 and was babysitting for the defendant at the time of the alleged abuse.
Derry Crown Court Judge Alistair Devlin heard that interviews in the case run to over 100 pages and the trial is expected to last five days.
The trial was listed for December 10 and the 43-year-old was released on continuing bail until that date.
