A 59-year-old man has been acquitted of a wounding charge after witnesses failed to attend court.
Derry Crown Court Judge Philip Babington directed a Derry Crown Court jury to find Kieran Edward Joseph McLaughlin, of Elaghmore Park, not guilty of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, threats to kill and possessing a Stanley knife on October 8, last year.
