A pensioner has denied raping and indecently assaulting a child.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denies a total of twenty charges of rape and indecent assault relating to one alleged victim.
The 73-year-old denied a further charge of indecently assaulting a second alleged injured party.
The offences are alleged to have occurred between October 1974 and May 1979.
Derry Crown Court heard the trial, which has not been listed yet, is likely to last two weeks.
The pensioner was released on continuing bail and the case will be mentioned again next month.
