Two petrol bombs have been thrown at a house in Derry’s Waterside.

Police say a number of adults who were in the house last night (April 16) at Kinsale Park were not injured.

“Shortly after 11.30pm, it was reported that two petrol bombs were thrown at a house in the area. One smashed the kitchen window and caused fire and smoke damage to the kitchen. The second hit the living room window smashing the outside pane of glass,” a PSNI spokesman says.

Anyone with information about the incident or noticed anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact Detectives in Strand Road on 0845 600 8000. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
