Petrol bomb thrown at car

A driver has escaped injury after the car they were driving was hit by a petrol bomb in Derry.

Police say the petrol bomb was thrown at the car as it was travelling along the Glengalliagh Road close to Leafair Park around 7pm on September 3.

A PSNI spokeswoman says slight damage was caused to the rear passenger door. She says a youth was seen at the side of the road at the time of the incident.
