A petrol bomb was thrown at a house in Galliagh in the early hours of Friday morning, 15th May.
Police are now appealing for information about the incident, which happened when a device was thrown into the driveway of a house at Rossnagalliagh at about 1am.
Inspector Jonny Hunter said, “The flames were extinguished by neighbour but damage was caused to an Audi car.”
He continued, “At this stage a motive has not been established and police are keen to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity.”
