Police in Derry have urged people to report suspicious activity after two more families became the latest victims of burglars.
Police have now confirmed that a house in the Prehen area of the city was burgled at the weekend.
The house at Stoneywood was searched through sometime between Saturday morning and Sunday evening.
An attempt was made to break into a second house nearby.
Police have appealed for information regarding any suspicious behaviour in the area over the weekend including callers and vehicles.
Meanwhile, a necklace and matching earrings cast from Indian gold were stolen from a house in the Culmore Road area.
The incident happened at Griffith Park last Friday.
Detective inspector David McQuade said: “Police would encourage the reporting of any suspicious activity in and around vacant properties or dwellings where the occupants are away for a period.
“In addition householders going away overnight or for an extended break should have a neighbour, friend or relative check on the premises.”
Information can be given on the police non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, it can be provided to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555111.
