Police appeal over silver car after Derry sex attack

Police investigating a sexual assault in Derry city centre say they want to speak to the occupants of a car seen in the area at the time of the assault.

A PSNI spokeswoman says detectives investigating the sex attack in Waterloo Place on April 2, are appealing for information on a Silver VW Golf car, believed to have been in the area at the time.

“Police are keen to speak to the occupants of this car,” the police spokeswoman says

“Anyone who saw this vehicle in the city centre between 2am and 3am on Monday morning, particularly around the Waterloo Place area is asked to contact Detectives on 0845 600 8000 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111.”
