Police probe Gleneagles burglary

Detectives at Strand Road are appealing for information about a burglary in the Culmore Road area of Derry.

During working hours on Wednesday, 7th May, a house was broken into in the Gleneagles area. Detectives believe that the offenders used the pathway to the River Foyle that runs to the back of Gleneagles from the Culmore Road.

The house was searched through, and a 22-carat gold engagement ring with a chalice shape and a thick band, and a white Apple iPhone were stolen.

Meanwhile, a sum of money was stolen from a house at Stephen’s Court in Derry between 3pm and 8pm on Monday, 5th.
