A man from Dublin has admitted possessing two duelling pistols in suspicious circumstances.
Sean Lawlor, with an address in Belfast, pleaded guilty to possessing the firearms on November 25, last year.
Sentencing was adjourned for a probation pre-sentence report to be compiled.
The court heard the pistols are of ‘some value’ and believed to date back to the 1920’s.
A defence barrister said the 58-year-old had brought them to Derry to sell them.
Lawlor will appear in court on January 26.
