Suspended sentence for fraudulently selling MTV Crashes tickets.

A Derry man who fraudulently sold MTV Crashes tickets on September 2 last year, has been given a three month sentence suspended for 12 months.

Martin McLaughlin, whose address was given in court as Creggan Heights pleaded guilty to the charge when he appeared in court on Friday.

However he was released on bail to get £50 from the bank.

This morning the magistrates court was told that McLaughlin had lodged £50 with the court office.

A compensation order for £50 was made to the injured party.
