A Derry teenager has appeared in court accused of a spate of burglaries in the Creggan area of the city.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named because of his age, faces a total of nine charges relating to alleged incidents on January 2.
They include burglaries in Leenan Gardens, Malin Gardens and Broadway, taking a car without consent and motoring offences.
An investigating officer told Derry Magistrate’s Court this morning that he believed he could connect the 17-year-old to the charges.
Defence solicitor Paddy McDaid said his client would not be applying for bail at this time.
The teen was remanded in custody to appear in court again via videolink on Jan 12.
