Teenager admits assault and robbery charges

A teenager who admitted stealing money and alcohol from a man is to be stentenced next month.

Josh Parker, of no fixed abode, had initially denied a further charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm on July 29, last year.

However, on the morning of his trial he applied to be re-arraigned and pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

A representative of the Public Prosecution Service said this plea was acceptable to the crown.

Sentencing was adjourned for a probation pre-sentence report to be compiled.

Parker was released on continuing bail and will appear in court again on December 7.
