Thieves target parochial house while priest at church
Police are appealing for information after an attempted burglary at the parochial house in Sion Mills on Saturday, February 18.
Detailing the incident, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Persons attempted to gain access to the parochial house while the priest, Fr McLaughlin was saying mass. If anyone noted any suspicious persons in the area, please contact 101, quoting reference number 1198 18/2/17.
“We would ask that everyone remains vigilant and report any suspicious persons or vehicles to police. Remember to record number plates and descriptions if possible.”
