Police in Derry have arrested three males aged 21, 22 and 33 on suspicion of a number of motoring offences in the Springtown Road area of Derry on the morning of Saturday, July 26.
Shortly before 7.50am, it was reported that a dark coloured car had collided with a pedestrian crossing on the Northland Road and drove on. A short time later it was reported that a dark coloured car had mounted a pavement on Springtown Road. Police attended and arrested the three men. All three were interviewed and subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The investigation is continuing and police would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone with any information to contact them, at Strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number, 101.
