A woman has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Derry.
Police say the 25-year old woman is being treated for multiple stab wounds. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A PSNI spokesman says police were called to a house at Barnwall Place in the Waterside shortly after midnight on Saturday where they found the woman.
He says a 19 year old woman was arrested a short time later on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody helping police with their enquiries.
