A crossbow and a longbow were among items stolen from a house at Northland Road in Derry, police have said.

They were stolen in a burglary on March 30, and police are investigating whether it is linked to several others in the same area over the previous ten days.

Releasing the information this morning, a police spokesperson said: “These are unusual items and detectives at Strand Road are keen to hear from anyone aware of them circulating in unusual circumstances. A bicycle and computer parts were also stolen.”

Information about any of the incidents can be given to the CID on the 101 non emergency umber, or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
