This Friday evening to celebrate Culture Night, the Nerve Centre will open its doors between 6 and 10pm.
Billed as a snapshot of the year round artistic and cultural activities include offerings of education, film, music, fun and food. From 6pm the cinema will play host to Nerve Centre tutors demonstrating some of the technology used in the creation of music. From 7pm Cafe Nervosa will be the focus of the northwest digital archive, where visitors will be shown around the rich archive of footage held at the centre. Musical offerings in the shape of the gentle sounds of ‘Marty and Shane’ can also be enjoyed. In addition some of the best Foyle Film Festival cinematic shorts will be shown. Admission is free.
