Da Vinci’s Hotel opened its doors 12 years ago and has been one of the flagship venues for the City of Derry Jazz and Big Band Festival since the festival was launched in 2001.

Over the past 11 years of the Jazz Festival Da Vinci’s Hotel has hosted some of the most memorable nights of the festival with performances from Ruby Turner, The Jive Aces, The Drifters, Kenny Ball to name but a few.

Da Vinci’s Hotel has, as expected, a fantastic line up for this year’s Jazz Festival, starting with the launch night of the festival with the hugely popular Jive Aces straight from their Britain’s Got Talent performance.

The Jive Aces will only be playing one exclusive gig at this year’s festival and it will take place at Da Vinci’s Hotel this Thursday, 3rd May from 9.30pm…..definitely one of the unmissable nights during this year’s festival. The highlight on Friday, 4th May at Da Vinci’s is Mirenda Rosenberg and band at 9pm in The Grillroom, Mirenda is an amazing act with a fabulous voice and a charismatic personality! The Friday night does not end there at Da Vinci’s as the Lee Hedley Band who will be following Mirenda at 11pm are sure to have the audience on their feet into the small hours!

When it comes to the Finale Night of the Jazz Festival, Da Vinci’s is yet again the venue to be at with the stars from The Commitments playing in The Grillroom.

This event is the only paid event in Da Vinci’s throughout the entire festival and some tickets, priced at £10 are still available from hotel reception
