Daniel O'Donnell comes to Burt!

The parishioners of Burt , Inch and Fahan were delighted to hear the news relayed to them at weekend Masses, that the much awaited tickets for Daniel O'Donnell's "an evening of Inspirational, music", were on sale in the parish.

Daniel and his band will grace the building of the twentieth century (St. Aengus' Church, Burt) on 20th April, 2009 and enthral the audience with well known numbers such as "Amazing Grace" and the Old Rugged Cross".

Mary McDermott of the Concert Organising Committee said the tickets were going well and they thanked the good turn out already that queued last Sunday. Kathleen Grant, Burt is looking forward very much to this one off event, it will be an evening to remember and she urged all who still hadn't purchased their ticket to do so now and thanks were extended to Fr. Michael Porter the local curate and the Organising Committee for making this possible.
