A Derry company has just launched a new choir with a little help from local songbird Rachel O’Connor.

The ‘Firstsource Inspire Choir’ is open to all employees, and aims to improve personal development, wellbeing and operational performance in the workplace.

Although the choir is relatively new, it has already attracted around 100 people.

Laura Hourican GM HR UK & Ireland from Firstsource Solutions said; “The choir was introduced through our partnership with Sing & Inspire to help improve overall customer experience, quality, reduce attrition levels and engage with employees. We are really delighted with the response to date and it is refreshing to see employees bring plenty of positivity and energy to their working day.”

Thanks to the Inspire Choir, the talented choristers at Firstsource have improved their communication skills with colleagues and customers alike whilst also making a positive change.

Local singer Rachael O’Connor also added; “I’m really excited to be here launching the Firstsource Inspire Choir. I’ve always found music a great way to make friends and have fun. I’m really looking forward to meeting the choir and listening to them sing.”
