The Muff Ceili Club held its last class before the Summer recess last Wednesday week 13th May, but a six week course for beginners will commence next Wednesday, 27th May at .9.30pm in St.Mary’s Hall this class is also open to anyone with a knowledge of Ceili dancing.

Fifty nine children from Hollybush Primary, Culmore, and 5 children from Culmore Primary School were confirmed by Bishop Donal McKeown in the Sacred Heart Muff last Thursday assisted by Father Colum Clerkin, PP Thornhill. The children were prepared for the Sacrament by Francis Mallon, Matthew McNulty, and Cahair O’Connor. The choir was under direction of Mrs Matthews,and Mrs Bradley. The preparations were overseen by the Principal Mrs Carmel Dunne Refreshments were served afterwards in the school. Congratulations is extended to all the Boys and Girls.who were confirmed on the day

Burt’s Big Bingo is Back ---- St. Mary’s Hall Burt is once again the venue for this very popular Big Bingo.It takes place this Sunday 24thMay at 3pm.

Books are €10 . (Sheets €2 optional) €200 for 9th house (full) and €50 for the line ,all other lines and houses €25 and €50. There will be no surgery in Muff next Wednesday 27th May but a surgery will be held on Friday 29th May at the usual time.

Are you interested in voluntary work with young people (10-18 years) in Buncrana? There are various regular or occasional opportunities for people over 18 years, including Drop-In work, homework club, grinds, junior and senior youth clubs. Inishowen A.C.’s ‘The Main Street Mile Sub 4 Minute Challenge’ will take place on Sunday 7th June on the Main Street from 7 p.m. also Fit for Life 5k will be at 11 a.m.
