One of the North’s biggest car retailers is creating 25 new jobs in a two million pound investment at Campsie, the Sunday Journal can reveal.

Managing director of Donnelly and Taggart, Houston Taggart revealed that the development could be the start of even more investment at the Campsie site over the next few years.

“We are already talking to a number of manufacturers and we believe we could create another 50 jobs over the next five years,” he said.

And the expansion also meant a big boost for the local economy with more than 90 per cent of the construction work on the site over the past six months carried out by local firms.

“We believe in bringing our services to every part of Northern Ireland. It’s a testament to our staff that we are in a position to expand and take on more employees,” said Mr.Taggart.
