Drills and fishing rods stolen from shed in Limavady

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a theft from the shed of a residential premises in Glenmore Gardens, Limavady.

Constable Nixon said: “Between the hours of 5.00pm on Monday 10th October and 7.00am on Tuesday 11th October, entry was gained to the rear of a property where a shed was broken into an a number of valuable items were stolen. These items included two 18 volt Panasonic drills, two airflow fishing rods with cork handles, a 36 volt Panasonic drill and a number of other tools and fishing equipment.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have any information regarding the incident or may have been offered similar items in suspicious circumstances to contact Limavady Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 172 on 11/10/16. Or, alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
