This stunning photograph was submitted by well known local lensman and charity worker, Eamon Melaugh.
Eamon explains: “I was out for a walk along our beautiful river when I captured this image.
“ I have been taking photographs for a long, long time, perhaps even I am the longest serving amateur photographer on the island of Ireland, but this image is the one, the first one where I have started to think I am just about getting it right!”
Eamon, a leading member of the 1968 Civil Rights Association, celebrated his 75th birthday in July. Despite his increasing ‘experience’ the Bogside native flew out to India last week in order to carry out more charity work with Action With Effect.
