Easter Sunday charity tractor run

A charity tractor run will take place on Sunday 5th April, leaving Moville at 10am sharp. Registration at 9:30am sharp travelling through Carndonagh, Buncrana, Burnfoot, Muff and Quigleys Point. Quigley’s Point Community Playgroup will host its open day on Saturday, 18th April from from 10am to 12pm. Come along with your child to see the fantastic facilities on offer including a play-park, sports hall, dance room, and fabulous purpose-built play room. This

playschool is the only one in the locality that took part in the Professional Pedagogy Project (PPP) which was an in-depth look at ensuring the best quality of care and quality learning environment for children. ECCE (free pre-school year open to all children from aged 3 years 3 months by September 2015); and CCS (reduced rates for families in receipt of social welfare or in receipt of medical card) places available, as well as full fee paying places. We take children from 2 and a half to 6 years of age. Sessions are from 9:15am to 12:15pm during term time, with an optional extended day to 1.45pm.

The QPCC/RCD Draw Jackpot of €1,250 was won by Sadie McColgan, Muff with the numbers 1,9,13 and 19. Next week’s jackpot will be €650

The Kids’ club parental supervisors for Monday, 30th March: Tracy/Paul Harley, and Eamon/Caroline McCauley. If you are unable to supervise please swap with another parent for another night.

Quigley’s Point Scout Group is hosting a flower arranging demonstration evening with Josie Coll on Tuesday 31st March at the Point Inn, Quigley’s Point at 7.30 pm. Tickets are five euro including refreshments. Flower arrangements will be raffled on the night. Tickets will be available at the door on the night.

Redcastle FC first team beat Carrowmena 3-0 away, in the Fr O Gara Cup on Sunday last, Brendan Murphy, 2 and James Curran got the goals. The reserve team lost at home to QPS in the same competition. There is a final opportunity for Underage registration tomorrow from 11am to 1pm in the club-house, the fee is 10 euro per player. This money goes directly to the youth league for player registration. Indoor football is now over for this season. U18 training is with First and reserve teams.
