St Paul’s Primary and Nursery School in the Slievemore area of Derry is having an Open Night tonight, Tuesday 18th November, and all are welcome to attend.
There will be a free door raffle and refreshments served in the school canteen during the evening.
St Paul’s Principal Mrs Catrina McFeely said: “The school received an excellent report from the Department of Education’s School Inspectors in September 2014 and we want to share the good work that goes on in the school with you, particularly if you are looking for a Primary One or a full time Nursery place.”
Past members of staff and past pupils of ‘Slievemore PS’ are especially invited to have a trip down memory lane as we will have a photographic exhibition of times gone by.
The Open Night will take place from 7pm to 8.30pm, with light refreshments served at the event.
The School Inspection Report September 2014 praised St Paul’s for its “outstanding pastoral care in the Primary and Nursery School” and it’s “very good quality of teaching and learning”,
“The children feel valued and are motivated to learn and reach their full potential,” the report adds.
St Paul’s has 26 Full Time Nursery Places, an Early Years Nurture Unit, Breakfast Club, Playpods Extended Day (Nursery to P2).
There is also AfterSchool Clubs from Monday to Friday.
St Paul’s is a UNICEF Rights Respecting School.
