Egg-citing Beart CLG Easter Camp

Burt GAA is organising an Easter Camp for national school pupils. The camp will run from March 30 to April 1, from 10am to 2,30pm. Any parents interested in enrolling children should contact Marty on 0877431332. The club has also organised a recycling event to raise much needed funds for the children participating in Féile 2015. It will take place in the clubhouse on Good Friday (April 3), at 6.00pm. Feel free to leave donations of unwanted clothes, shoes and bags. Curtains and blankets are also welcome, but must be bagged separately. The Club can also recycle old books.

Burt’s Big Bingo raised a fabulous 910 euro for the St Aengus’ Restoration Fund.. Thanks to all who supported this event, gave donations of items and money. It is hoped to run another one in mid-May.

Inishowen Development Partnership, in association with Spraoi agus Sport, is hosting a Kids Fit for Life nutritional information workshop for parents today from 10.00am to 12 noon at the premises of Spraoi agus Sport, Carndonagh (beside Supervalu supermarket). The Guest speaker is Corinne Moyne, Nutritionist with the Western Education & Library Board. The workshop is free and free childcare facilities are available onsite for children 3 years and upwards.

St. Aengus NS is celebrating its Ruby Anniversary this year. A series of events is taking place to celebrate the past 40 years. There will also be a Gala Dinner in An Grianán Hotel, on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Tickets cost 25 euro and are available from the school on 074 9368352. It is hoped that a booklet will be produced and the school invites people to contribute and send in their memories to the school.

Burt Bingo takes place every Tuesday evening at 9pm in St Mary’s Hall. A book and sheet cost 9 euro.
