A meeting will take place this morning to try and resolve a range of problems being encountered by residents of Conars Court at Crawford Square.
Welcoming the development, Sinn Féin Councillor for the area, Mickey Cooper said: “I have been in ongoing talks with residents from Conars Court and Habinteg Housing Association for a number of months now.
“This has been a complicated process to try and get the problems around gas supply to their homes and other issues resolved.
“I hope Friday’s meeting will help come up with new arrangements that will meet the satisfaction of residents.
“I would like to thank everyone who has been involved in this process thus far,” he added.
The meeting will get under way at 11.00 a.m.
A programme of remedial works has been ongoing at the flats, most of which were transferred from private to social housing several years ago.
