The Buncrana Tidy Town Initiative will hold its Annual General Meeting at 7.30 p.m. this Monday 3rd November in The Exchange, Castle Avenue. A new committee will be elected and anyone who wants to join the committee must attend the meeting or forward a letter for the post they are interested in. Come along and support your Tidy Town volunteers.

Bring a smile to needy children this Christmas by filling a shoebox with small gifts. Drop off filled shoeboxes at SuperValu, Buncrana or at the HQ, Buncrana Market, Lower Main Street, Buncrana. Volunteers are needed Monday to Friday at the HQ and all donations of small gifts/fillers(cuddly toys, scarves or hats, copy books, toothpaste or sweets) welcome. Call 087 256 4777 for details.

The Friendly Face Befriending Scheme, covering Inishowen offers support to people over 60 living alone.If you are interested in either using the service or becoming a ‘Volunteer Befriender’ contact Liam Hargan, project organiser on 0749321598.

Scoil Naomh Iosaf (Illies) Parents’ Association would like to invite everyone to the school fundraiser to purchase laptops tomorrow in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel. A charity dance in aid of Donegal - Galway Cancer Bus & Cancer Care West will be held on Saturday 15th November in the Strand Hotel, Ballyliffin with music by Charlie’s Country Kitchen. Tickets 10 euro and there will be a door prize of 50 euro.
