The Limavady 400 FM radio station will turn Drumceatt Square into a “three day hive of activity with something for everyone”, says Council’s Limavady 400 event coordinator Andy Chapman.
Local people are asked to tune into 106 FM for three full days as Limavady celebrates its 400th birthday. A one off radio station will broadcast from the Arts Centre on August 8, 9 and 10.
To complement the radio station, an array of FREE activities are being lined up for outside the Centre including an invite for children asked to help celebrate Limavady’s birthday on August 8 between 12.15pm and 3pm by coming to the square to make special Limavady 400 birthday cards.
Friday sees a mini Stendhal Festival come to the square for the afternoon followed by a new world record attempted at 5pm. Council organisers are hoping to have the most people in one venue perform push ups for a period of one minute.
