CultureTECH’s City Arcade is back for its third year with free-to-play video games arcades set over six locations. However the biggest draw this year will undoubtedly be the Minecraft events, which are expected to attract thousands of players across three exciting days.

Things will kick off on Thursday with the first arcades going live in Foyleside, followed on Friday with the launch of the Minecraft tournament in the Guildhall at 3pm alongside casual play areas in the Playhouse, Richmond Centre and Game On (Shipquay Street).

Over the weekend Rath Mor shopping centre and the Verbal Arts Centre will join proceedings.

The arcades are open to 8pm on Friday and Saturday, before closing on Sunday at 6pm. Everything is free but queues during peak times are expected.
