Moville Port Sea Scouts are holding a fundraising Baby Boot (car boot) and cake sale for anyone to sell unwanted baby and kids clothes toys, books, bikes etc. on Saturday 11 July from 10am to 2pm in the Den-Masonic Hall, Sea Front, Moville. A new Step on It programme will commence on Tuesday, 21 July at 11am for two weeks and will recommence in September. Individual are encouraged to bring their wet gear and walks go ahead even in the rain, good walking techniques are taught and chat is encouraged along the way

Paddy J McLaughlin will be launching his CD Life is A River next Friday, 17 July in The Corner Bar, Moville from 10pm. All proceeds are in aid of the Cancer Care Bus. The CD is also available to purchase in many shops around Inishowen.

Ata recent meeting of the Moville Care of the Aged Committee six committee members were presented with long service awards. Awards were presented to Mary McGonagle, Peggy Crumlish, Nuala McLaughlin (all of whom had over 20 years’ service) and Nan McCarron (over 45 years’ service). A special award was given to Tommy Doherty, Terryrone who had over 50 years’ service as well as being a founder member of the committee. 

The annual blessing of the graves will take place r on Sunday, 12 July in Ballincrae at/after 10.30am Mass and in Ballybrack at 2pm.

The Greencastle Community Centre will be holding a couple of Summer Camps in July in association with Left for Love Craft and Creations and also Terry’s Youth Connection. For dates for Left for Love contact Bebhinn on 0864089481 and for Terry’s Youth Connection contact Terry on 0861082110.

Kids’ Summer dance workshops take place in Glencrow Hall, on Tuesdays 14 and 21 July and Thursdays 16 and 23 July form 10.30am to 11.30am (4-7 years) and 12 to 1pm (8-12 years).
