Lunch Club: Are you fifty or over? Are you at a loose end? Would you like to meet and socialise with people of your own age group for lunch, a chat, a bit of craic, enjoy occasional outings, theatre trips, social events, meeting new people and an annual holiday. If you are interested, join us at the Lunch Club in St.Johnston and Carrigans Family Resource Centre every second Wednesday from 11am-1.30pm. New members always welcome!

Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services in Uganda: Would like to thank the staff and customers of the Fishermen’s Inn at St. Johnston for their support and for raising €615 on their behalf.

Summer Boxercise: Summer Boxercise Classes at St. Johnston and Carrigans Family Resource Centre. Tuesday morning 10-11am, Thursday evening 8-9pm, if you want to lose weight for the summer, this is the class for you. Burn between 450-950 calories in a one hour session. Whilst Drive: A Whilst Drive will be held on the last Monday of every month in St. Johnston and Carrigans Family Resource Centre. The next night will be Monday 27th June starting at 8.00pm sharp. Light supper will be served. All welcome. Admission €5.

The Jiving Group has started up again and will commence every Wednesday from 8.30pmk to 10.00pm. For further information call Marie on 0876152761. Admission: €5. Everybody welcome including beginners.

Community Café: Broadband Internet access available for college work, e-mails, Facebook etc. The Drop-In is open on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 10.00am to 2.00pm.

Art Class: location Old Playgroup Building on Church Lane, St Johnston.. Beginners and Improvers welcome with materials and resources available.

50/50 Bonus Ball: This fund-raiser is available in St. Johnston & Carrigans Family Resource Centre. The cost is 1 Euro per line number. 50% goes to the Winner and 50% goes toward the Community Drop-in Cafe in St. Johnston Main Street. The draw is made against the Lotto Bonus Ball every week.

Bowling: Fridays 7.30pm to 10pm in the Family Resource Centre. Everyone welcome.

Clothes Bank: There is a Clothes Bank at the Family Resource Centre to help raise funds for the Centre. Please donate: Clothes, Sheets, Towels, Blankets, Shoes, Curtains. Your donations will be much appreciated. The bank can be found at the back of the Centre and is a purple colour. Sorry we cannot accept items such as carpets, ornaments, mats, glass and paper.
