Father Frank Bradley has been chosen to head-up the Derry Diocese until a new Bishop is appointed.
The Diocese of Derry yesterday confirmed that the 43 year-old from Omagh is the new Diocesan Administrator for Derry.
He succeeds Archbishop Eamon Martin who took up his new role as Coadjutor Archbishop of Armagh on Sunday.
Fr. Bradley has ministered in the Galliagh and Steelstown parishes in the city.
