Derry's Concern shop selling 500 books a week
The charity says that as bookworms everywhere grab their summer reads for the beach or pool, the new shop in Derry is doing a roaring trade.
Retail development manager Nyree Tubritt said: “We opened our first book shop earlier this year, in the city of Derry. And the city’s literature lovers have helped make the store a hit.

Hide Ad“We’re selling everything from Booker Prize winners to classic fiction, thrillers, romance and horror.
“Children’s books are a big hit, and the shop has had to increase the size of its young adult section to meet demand. Titles by Irish authors have been flying off the shelves too – perhaps because the shop is on a popular tourist trail around the city.”
