Have a heart - get a tattoo
‘Tattoos are Good for the Heart’ is the brainchild of mum-of-two Hayley Doherty and it raises funds for the Children’s Heartbeat Trust.
Those taking part pay £30 for a small heart tattoo. £25 of this money goes straight to helping families of children born with congenital heart defects.

Hide AdHayley came up with the idea after her first child, son Dexter, was born in 2012 with a heart condition.
To date, the events have raised £14,500.
She says: “There are already 150 people booked in this weekend. As this is our final year, we will be taking walk-ins, too.
“There’s also raffle tickets and merchandise for sale for those who don’t want to participate in the tatooing.
“To date, over 400 people sport a little heart tattoo - a little heart with a big meaning.
