Cooking in the great outdoors, who says it’s just barbecues? Come along and take part in our food demonstration and have a taste. Food cooked on the day will come from our community garden where you can see how to ‘Grow Ur Own’ and learn how to plant herbs. Each attendee will be given a herb pot to take home. Acclaimed writer/political commentator, Fintan O’Toole, will deliver this year’s Annual Féile lecture. In his latest publication, ‘Enough is Enough; How to build a new republic, O’Toole has written a different kind of polemic, not just a prescription for recovery, but a kind of manifesto for a new republic based on the founding ideals of decency, fairness and the pursuit of the common good.

Intergenerational Football match

The Brandywell plays host to a community football mini tournament. All ages and sexes are invited to enter a team for what we hop will be a great tournament od skill, goals, but most of all, craic.
