Ferguson inquiry resumes

An inquiry investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a Derry girl at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, will resume on Thursday.

The inquiry into Hyponatraemia-related deaths will hold a progress hearing at 11am on Thursday, May 19 at Banbridge Courthouse in Co Down.

The inquiry is investigating the death of Derry schoolgirl Raychel Ferguson who died at the age of 10 years on June 10, 2001, in the Royal, after having been treated in Altnagelvin Hospital, as well as Adam Strain, who died at the age of 4 years in the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children on November 28, 1995; and Claire Roberts, who died at the age of 9 years on October 23, 1996 at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
