Forensics awaited in Quinn case

A 16-year-old boy charged with the murder of Currynierin man, Gerard Quinn, appeared at Derry Youth Court via video link on Tuesday.

The boy, who cannot be named due to his age, is currently detained at the Woodlands Juvenile Justice Centre in Bangor.

A Public Prosecution Service spokesperson said the prosecution was still awaiting various forensic reports in relation to the case against the defendant.

District Judge Barney McElholm put the case back in order to await the completion of further forensics.
