Fourth anniversary of the murder of Andrew Allen

Gardai in Inishowen have renewed their appeal for information on the fourth anniversary of the murder of Derry man Andrew Allen at a house at Lisfannon just outside Buncrana.

On February 9, 2012 the callous murder of Andrew Allen occurred at Links View Park. The killing was later claimed by dissident republican grouping the Real IRA.

A statement released today by police in Donegal said: “This year, 2016, marks the fourth anniversary of that heinous crime. The investigation into Andrew’s killing is ongoing with one significant arrest taking place in the last twelve months.

“While many witnesses have come forward and made statements there are still people in our community who have information which may assist the investigation. If you have some knowledge of this heartless murder and you have not come forwarded to date please don’t hesitate any further and come forward to assist now.
