The Foyle Hospice will hold a special open day and coffee morning in their magnificent gardens tomorrow.
The gardens in the grounds of the Hospice on the Culmore Road have been flourishing over the past few years.
Ciaran McGinley, Head of Fundraising at the Hospice said: “We hope that the public will take the opportunity to call in with us on Saturday to have a tour of the magnificent gardens which have become such an important feature of the Hospice over the past few years.
“The Peace Garden offers people a place of tranquillity and a statue of the Peace Bridge stands proudly in the garden in front of the In-Patient Unit. One of the most recent editions to our gardens in the last year has been the Memory Tree which offers people the opportunity to purchase a leaf to hang on the tree in memory of a loved one who has passed away .”
For an opportunity to have a chance to walk around the gardens followed by a cup of tea/coffee the open day will take place from 10am-2pm on Saturday 21st June. Everyone is welcome so please call in.
