A sponsored climb of Errigal in Donegal will take place next month to raise funds for Foyle Search and Rescue.
The event is being organised by local man Michael McCrossan, who last year raised more than £1,500 for the charity through a fundraising night in An Chultúrlann.
The charity climb will take place on Sunday, April 7, and those intending to take part must raise a minimum of £25.
A bus will leave Prehen Boathouse at 9am on the morning of the climb going to the car-park at the base of the mountain at Dunlewey.
Sponsorship forms are available from the Foyle Search and Rescue headquarters in Prehen or via the Facebook page, ‘Climb Mount Errigal for Foyle Search and Rescue.’
It is one of a number of fundraising events to mark the 25th anniversary of Foyle Search and Rescue.
