‘Gadgets at Gasyard’ free youth project on next Saturday

Young people from Derry with a passion for gadgets are asked to come and ‘get stuck in’ at a community engagement project at the Gasyard on Saturday, March 22.

Gadgets at the Gasyard - a free youth project, which takes place at The Gasyard Centre, Lecky Road Brandywell - aims to have something for everyone.

The event runs from 1-5pm.

The science themed project is building on the successful ‘STEAM in the Hood’ event delivered last year in conjunction with the Triax Hub Youth Sub Group.

It is funded by the Community Engagement Project and will be delivered in conjunction with the Divert Project.

Ryan Tracey, project coordinator with the Divert Project, says the day is all about fun for young people, letting them roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.

“We have a packed agenda,” Ryan said.
