Good As New Shop- Bocan Parish

Will be opening again in Mid August for Bocan Church Funds.If you have any unwanted clothes/bric-a brac or furniture then please save them for the shop and if you need them collected it will be arranged.

Under 10s FUN FOOTBALL

Fun football for boys and girls from 6year olds to ten year olds will commence at Caratra every Monday evening from 5pm to 6.15pm beginning on Monday 30th April. To qualify for the under 10 blitzes boys have to be born after Jan 1st 2003 while girls have to be born after Jan 1st 2002.Players pay € 2 weekly ,all are welcome and players should wear track suits and bring a WATER bottle.

Classes will continue at the Red Gate B&B Drumaville, Malin. On Tuesdays at 10.30am & 12 noon .Limited places available and booking is essential. Contact Lisa on 087-9704194

Gleneely Colts Lotto -There was no winner of the lotto jackpot last week . Numbers drawn were 4-7-8-21 .Next weeks jackpot is now €7,850. Gleneely Colts Sports Day will take place on Sunday 29th July at 2.30pm ( due to the Ulster Final) Always guaranteed to be a great day out for the family with loads of kids and adult races and side shows galore.The underage blitz will take place at Glenview Park on Saturday 28th July.

Carndonagh Community Market is on every Saturday at the Colgan hall Carndonagh from 12 – 3pm.We have a variety of stalls selling local,homemade and handcrafted produce –locally produced food to unique Inishowen handcrafted goods. We also have live music, hot food, and a warm welcome ! Pop in for a chart & a cuppa. Zumba Class

A Zumba Class will be held in Bocan Hall every Wednesday night from 6.30pm – 7.30pm and in Malin Hall on Monday nights at the same time.Come along as it is a brilliant way to exercise and get fit.

Old Tyme Dancing in Lagg Presbyterian Hall commencing at 8.30pm continuing every first and third Thursday of the month.

Two Hand Dancing

Two hand dancing classes will take place in the Wee Hall Culdaff every Thursday night from 8pm – 10pm. New members always welcome to come along and have some fun while learning to dance.

Teas will be served in Malin Presbyterian Church Hall each Saturday during the months of July & August from 2.30pm until 5pm. Visitors will be welcome to look around the church and graveyard and to read about the history of the church. All welcome.

Donagh & Culdaff Church of Ireland

The good as new shop at number 3 Business Park, Carndonagh is currently open and all proceeds are in aid of Parish Funds for Donagh and Culdaff Church of Ireland. All donations and voluntary help are most welcome.

Carn Hospital Patients Fund -The good as new shop in G & S Carndonagh has all proceeds going to Carn Hospitals Patient Comfort fund. All donations of clothes etc gratefully accepted.

Culdaff Football Club held a fundraising quiz in McGuinness Marquee on Friday 6th July as part of their anniversary celebrations. FIFTEEN tables participated with Elaine Meehans “I Cant believe we are not better” in third place on 47 points. In second place was the Siobhan McIntyre & Carrie McLaughlin led “the Muckers” on 48 points. The winners on the night were the “Dun nanGall 4 Sam” team of Oliver McDaid, John, Emma & Patrick McFeely, Dermot Diver & Michaela Merritt by one single point on 49 points. Bar questions were answered by Oliver McDaid, Patrick McFeely, Hugh Diver & John McFeely . Raffle winners on the night were Lizzie O’Brien, Seamus Doherty,Michael Plunkett Dublin,Norah McGrenaghan,Adrian McGonigle,Jane Gampbell, Michael Hennigan and David McLaughlin claimed the David Beckham aftershave prize. All proceeds were in aid of the Bocan SVDP & the Alzheimers Unit Carn Hospital. Between the collection at the pitch and the quiz € 800 was raised with each charity to receive € 400 each. The club would like to thank all who supported and donated to this wonderful effort.
