And to celebrate his anniversary of quitting smoking 17 years ago, tomorrow he will have his head shaved by the Derry Barber Company in Great James’ Street.

All money raised on the day will be donated to Foyle Search and Rescue.

“I’ll be having all my facial hair removed,” said Bill. “As well as my hair, I’ll also be having a shave with a cut throat razor.

“After hearing about Foyle Search and Rescue missing out on their funding I just wanted to do something to help them.”

Bill will have his hair cut at the Derry Barber Shop Company tomorrow (Thursday) at 10.30 a.m.

You can donate money to the appeal at the Drive 105 radio station or the Derry Barber Shop Company.
