Hallowe’en Hooley today

Hallowe’en Hooley will take place today with St Patrick’s School starting in the Diamond this year with a Spooky Samba School drumming session at 11.30am. The costumed parade of more than 200 pupils, staff and flag bearing parents and friends will then drum their way to the school for a performance of Halloween Song and dance from the Scary Singer and Ghostly Groovers. A show not to be missed.

Fancy Dress Halloween Disco for preschool children in Naiscoil Dhomhnach Og Teo also today from 4-6pm in Bridgetown Business Park, Moville Road, Carndonagh (in front of Carn Tyre Centre) Admission €2 per child or €5 per family. All proceeds to Naiscoil.

Carn Drama Club members are busy rehearsing for the John B. Keane play “Many Young Men Of Twenty” which will be performed on 28th and 30th November and 7th December.

Inishowen Development Partnership are offering a 10 week programme in Electronics with a focus on Robotics starting Tuesday October 14thOctober in the new Slieve Sneacht Centre, Drumfries from 10am – 2pm. Are you suffering the pain of bereavement? Bethany Bereavement Support Group have a drop in centre every first Monday of the month from 7-9pm in the bungalow beside the Sacred Heart Church. If you need help, please call in.
