The Carndonagh community is being offered the opportunity to have their say on a public art piece to be placed at the Colgan Hall.
To celebrate the Centenary of the hall, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland has awarded funding for a public art piece as part of the “Building Peace through the Arts and Re-Imaging Communities” work.
The community is being offered the opportunity to have their say as part of the community consultation and creative engagement project. A public information and hands-on creative workshop is to be held next Friday to involve everyone in sharing views, ideas and opinions.
There will be a presentation about the project followed by refreshments. All information gathered will be given to the funders and then the chosen artist. If for any reason you can not attend any of these workshops but still wish to share your ideas, there is an area in the Library for this, where input will be collecte and included.
The workshop takes place in the Colgan Hall, Carndonagh this Friday, September 26th from 7.30 - 9pm. All ages are welcome and children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information contact;Sinead Smyth 087 1372139, Jacqui Reed 089 4094902 or Colgan Hall 074 9329377
