Derry clinic scoops major national award

Two Derry women look set to follow in the footsteps of Apprentice winner Leah Totton after winning a prestigious award at a glitzy London ceremony.

Margaret Doherty and her daughter Emma Heaney who run the Elite Aesthetic clinic in Springtown were finalists at the London Aesthetic Awards 2014 held in the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel last weekend.

The pair were delighted when their clinic came third in the Best New Clinic category and was commended as best new clinic in the UK and Ireland.

Apprentice winner Leah Totton, who atteneded the ceremony in London, congratulated the local women on their achievement with of the prestigious award.
