Scoil Naomh Iosaf Illies School invite everyone to join them in the raising of the school’s first Green Flag today at 12 noon.
This summer, Art & Craft workshops will be on offer in the Buncrana area for children from 7 to 12 years old. The classes will run on the 19th and 20th July in Tullyarvan Mill and will consist of painting, t-shirt printing, pottery and vinyl art. Workshops start at 10am and finish at 2.30pm. Children are asked to bring an old shirt or top and a packed lunch. Price for the two days is 30 euro per child which includes firing costs and materials. The Tidy Towns committee has submitted its 2012 plan to the national tidy towns competition and with only two weeks to go before adjudication everyone in the community is asked to help prepare the town to show at its best. If you have any spare time why not join in the clean up every Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Tourist Information Centre.
